Things To know before Moving in:

I lived at 2738 N Pine Grove for 6 Months and I feel you should know the following things before you sign the lease: 1) My ceiling leaked sewage twice in 6 months. Repairs were slow and not complete 2) The radiator is old and loud. My apartment was uncomfortably cold and the pipes banging were unbearable. I was unable to sleep many nights. They are not the normal sounds of a radiator this is much worse. I lived in Chicago all of my life and have never had it this bad. 3) No Security. No doorman. Locks are breakable and the entrance from the alley is uncomfortably insecure. I had my bike stolen. 4) Management unhelpful and have ridiculous, non-refundable fees. 5) Any chance what so ever you will have to break your lease- DO NOT live here. Management charges unfair rates and will try to be as unhelpful as humanly possible. It was a horrible place to live. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.
