bad Idea

My experiences are best presented in list format: 1. NOTHING ever gets fixed. -My airconditoner must be turned on 47 degrees to keep the place at a balmy 80. Repeated requests for repair have been ignored. This is not unusual. -The railing in the hallway was not screwed into studs. Therefore, when I leaned on it when I had a sprained knee and broken foot, I went tumbling down the stairs. -The apartment was not cleaned or painted when we moved in. It was covered in hot sauce (literally) and filth. - We don't live in the best neighborhood. Our door locks are also frequently FALLING OFF. They get "fixed," not replaced. -The gas company came and told us our stove was completely unsafe, and the buidling manager told us it was fine and the gas company was just trying to "scare us." 2. Let's move on to the administrative issues: -Our lease has been sent to us with incorrect information 3 times. -Our lease has also been lost 3 times. -They lost our DIRECTLY DEBITED RENT. I had to provide transaction dates and check numbers FOR MONTHS OF RENT. 3. We never received an apology for any of their actions, despite the fact that we received email confirmations of receipt of our lease(s), and the loss of our money. There has been an accusatory tone taken with us many times, despite the fact we had evidence that it was the company's error, and we get emails that are completely unprofessional, i.e., "hey guys....looks like I misplaced your lease...again...
